These Two Cold Lands

My bones are by the fire
These hands are two cold hands
It's Abbeyfields and East Anglia
They call these two cold lands

If my house was in East Anglia
Then my home was Barn View Road
In winter time we stayed at home
Because when it was cold it was cold

If my home was by the fire
Then my life was in your hands
Because you took me out tonight
Across these two cold lands

There was one life I could have chosen
And one life I ignored
And when I was good was seldom
And when I was bored I was bored

My bones are by the fire
These two old hands are cold
It's Abbeyfields and East Anglia
My life and Barn View Road
